This album is, in many ways, the genesis of hey!high, a collaborative project with my brotha Ada Z. It was sparked by a collection of friends choosing to spend a moment together regularly, gathered with the intention of ‘raising the frequency’ of this realm we call home. Each day, at 16:20 PST, we united in camaraderie for an electric eleven minutes and eleven seconds. What originally began as a moment in silence was soon infused with song, as Ada & I began to create some soundscapes for the occasion, purposefully saturating these beats & melodies with "adaptogenic, transformative, & consciousness-expanding frequencies.” Four songs were birthed, and for the past 2(+) years, our little collective of dope humans has gathered (almost) daily & infused their special blend of soul-magic into these songs, all the while joining together with the desire to ignite ‘high vibes’. And so begins the wildfire…
